Dali is Sammy's pet cat, who later gets "adopted" by Alex after Sammy gets taken by the Entities. Sammy uses Dali as a weapon. In I.V she has the skill Cat Burgle, which allows her to steal items from enemies.

Dali is the second tool Alex gets on his quest, which allows him to hit switches, stun enemies, and grab treasure.

Story

Alex first finds Dali while on his way to get groceries. Dali decides to steal his shopping list and leads him into the Factory Hotel. Right before Sammy is taken away, Dali leaps towards Alex, remaining with him for the rest of the game.

In the footage of where Sammy was last seen, Dali is not present.

• Alex chasing after Dali could be seen as him "chasing after pussy."
  • YIIK I.V supports this as Jocasta directly tells Alex to "...chase the pussycat."
• While at first Sammy refers to Dali as a "she," later she refers to Dali as a "he."
  • This has been stated to be an intentional choice.
• With square-framed eyes, ginger fur, and facial hair, Dali bears a striking resemblance to Alex.
  • This connection likely ties into Alex's desire for unconditional love. He wants someone to love him for simply existing, the same way a cat gets love for just being a cat.
