New Jersey serves as the world map for YIIK: A Postmodern RPG.
Roads around the map will block Alex from progressing, unless he is being driven around by Claudio. Alex is able to walk along crosswalks.
In chapters 1-4, construction work is happening North-east of the map, preventing access to areas beyond it without using the bus.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The shape of the map is the same shape of New Jersey. (Try tilting your head if you can't see it!)
- Interacting with the construction work gives Alex the Hard Hat, the only item that can be found in the overworld.
