The Golden Alpaca is a boss fight in YIIK: A Post-Modern RPG and a character in Deviation Perspective I.

He stars in the films "Electric City Golgotha: Crufusion" and "Music From Another Reality: Electric City Strikers".

Boss Fight

Arcangelo has a few different attacks. He can do a basic attack, but he can also do an attack where he removes an entire row of a party member's Karta.

The Alpaca will sometimes summon soul survivors to help him out in battle. Use Vella's Banish, Rory's Protest, or Michael's Gun to take them out. If they're out for too long, the Alpaca will absorb them. One three have been absorbed, he will use a powerful move which will make it extremely difficult to defeat him afterwards.

Arcangelo likes to focus on taking out specific party members, particularly Vella, so it's a good idea to protect her.

The Alpaca will occasionally summon soul survivors. You can get rid of them by using Vella's Banish, or wait until the Alpaca absorbs them. Unique to this fight is a WARNING meter. The Alpaca can absorb the soul survivors they spawn to build up the meter. It takes 4 soul survivors to fill it up. Once full, the Alpaca will release a devastating attack against the party. Alex can use Panda Barrier to block it.

The Alpaca will frequently summon soul survivors, which it will quickly consume. Every two soul survivors it consumes will have them progress to the next phase, where their appearance chances to be more menacing and monstrous. A recommended strategy is to simply ignore it and deal and focus all of your attention on killing the Alpaca. Use Panda Barrier to deal with the incoming attacks from the Soul Survivors. The Soul Survivors will also prioritize killing Vella over anyone else, so it is recommended to use Rory's Pacifism to defend her.

YIIK

During Rory's encounter with his Soul Survivor, the Golden Alpaca appears out of nowhere. He sentences Alex to soul death, but seemingly fails. The scene repeats, and he decides to destroy Rory's Soul Survivor instead, and succeeds. Afterwards, he confronts the party and attempts to take them out too, removing their "illicit presences."

The party defeats the Alpaca, but he refuses to truly die. Occasionally throughout Alex's adventure, he can be found, repeating some of the worst things Alex has said back at him.

Trivia

• In a twitter post, the character was referred to as the "Killer Golden Jazz Alpaca".
• Arcangelo has a unique sleeping animation, unlike most other enemies in the game.
• While the "lemonade alpaca" isn't present in 1.25, they are assigned the Wood Affinity internally.
• According to the synopsis of Electric City Golgotha: Crucifusion, Arcangelo is armed with "the All-Seeing Eyes of God," which may refer to the eyes on his wings.
